Day 1: Facebook Ads: Hands-On Workshop (delivered by: Martin Perez, Digital Marketing Specialist at The Successful Investor Inc.)

Day 2: MailChimp: Hands-On Workshop (delivered by: Digital Business Management Students: Kiran Bajwa & Irina Gorea)

• When: Tuesday Jan 24, 2017 @ 6:00 – 9:00 PM (includes time for Q&A)

• What: In this workshop, you will learn how to market your business by building your brand using MailChimp, an excellent email marketing platform!

Day 3: Shopify: Hands-On Workshop (delivered by a team of Shopify Gurus). 

• When: Wednesday Jan 25, 2017 @ 6:00 – 9:00 PM (includes time for Q&A)
• Where: Lakeshore campus, Room A238
• What: A team of Shopify Gurus will guide you, step-by-step, through the process of starting your own online store. Shopify is a Canadian e-commerce company that develops computer software for online stores and retail point-of-sale systems, enabling businesses to sell online, on social media, or in person.

This past fall, DBSA asked you what type of workshops you’d liked to be apart of for our conference this year. The top results were: Facebook Ads, MailChimp, and Shopify! Therefore this winter, all students are welcome to join us for hands-on workshops led by your experienced fellow peers.

If you can’t make all the workshops, don’t worry! We chose to make our conference a week-long experience to fit your schedule. Sign up for what you can make, or what you’re most interested in. But don’t forget to come to the last day of Tech Week. Recent grads from the Digital Business Management program will be joining us to discuss their career paths and answer any questions you have for them.
