The DBSA team had an incredible time this past week celebrating the end of the school year. However, this wasn’t a normal summer break celebration. April 2018 marks the end of our time as the DBSA Executive Team as well as the time we all completed our Bachelor of Commerce degrees at Humber.

As a thank you, our fantastic program coordinator, Hanadi Alnawab, and The Business School sent us on a day trip. We ventured to the Casa Loma escape room experience and concluded the night with a delicious dinner at Fat Pasha in Toronto. Our time was spent realizing how well we work together as a team and reminiscing about the past four years together at Humber.

Not only are we so grateful to have shared this evening together, but it was amazing to reflect on our time and accomplishments as members of the Digital Business Student Association. We were able to figure out our passions in the industry and define a more solid career path, we brought knowledge to our fellow peers and small business owners through our events, and were able to give back to the community through fundraising. Being apart of DBSA has led us all to make connections to Humber faculty and business professionals in our industry.

We are all sad to say goodbye to this chapter of our lives, but we know we’ll be back for another Tech Week in the future! Thank you again to our program coordinator and Humber for believing in us and preparing us for our futures. The evening of celebrations was unforgettable, just like our time at Humber!
